    Interface PageOwner

    Transport boundary for immutable pages. Reads return independent copies. Staging is idempotent for identical versions and bytes; discarding fences that version against delayed stage requests. Implementations must authenticate the scope and enforce their own storage, request and deadline limits. A never-settling request retains its directory locks; expiry cannot cancel an RPC.
